Busy Bears: young three's
Three year olds in the Bear room are ready to explore their world! Children have opportunities to experience nature, garden, build complex block structures, tell stories, and act out dramas; paint, blocks, puppets, and grass are part of the daily routine. Children enter fully potty trained and work on letter recognition, number recognition, spelling their name, drawing, following instructions, completing tasks independently and helping their classmates.
This class features a loft, Outdoor Classroom, flexible snack time, and various special theme days. At this age teachers work closely with children to develop their social skills and help them learn how to be a good friend. Children’s need for play is dignified as authentic learning, and teachers challenge children to explore academic concepts as they encounter them naturally in play.
